Two things that Salman Khan cannot do without are enjoying the odd joke related to Shah Rukh Khan and his association with Bigg Boss.
At the launch of Bigg Boss Season 7, Salman promised he would continue to be on the show forever. "Unless the channel throws me out, I will never leave the show. I do not mind continuing with the show for many more years," he said at a glittering launch ceremony in Mumbai.
As expected, Shah Rukh Khan's name popped up quite soon when host of the evening, Gaurav Kapoor, asked Salman if he would allow SRK to promote his film on the show.
"Now, I will have a problem," joked Salman, quickly adding a politically- correct rejoinder: "Of course, he is more than welcome if he has a film coming up that he wants to promote on the show." Salman did not deny the increasing threat from newcomers. " Every week there are new boys coming up with great films. I really need to work hard to compete with the new generation," he said.
The concept of the show this year revolves around the existence of heaven and hell together. In sync with the theme, girls dressed as angels and devils appeared on the stage and Salman danced with them. Sporting a black shirt and pant teamed with snake-print shoes, Salman was in a jovial mood. The launch event was attended by Deepak Dhar, MD, Endemol India, Vivek Mathur of Vodafone India and Raj Naya, CEO, Colors.
The new season will see 14 contestants locked up in the Bigg Boss house at Lonavala for 104 days.
